Specifications are based on the manufacturer's published product information. Battery performance varies with volume, EQ settings, audio content and usage.
1. Compact 5W Sound
The Select 4 Go delivers 5W audio output in a small portable body. It is intended for personal listening, podcasts and casual music playback in smaller spaces.
Its sound output is suitable for everyday use, but do not expect the deep bass or room-filling volume of a larger party speaker. The speaker produces mono audio when used on its own.
2. IP67 Water and Dust Protection
One of its most useful features is the IP67 rating. The manufacturer states that the speaker can withstand immersion in up to 1 metre of water for 30 minutes under specified test conditions. It is also designed to float.
This can make it useful for showers, poolside listening and outdoor trips. Always close the charging-port cover securely and follow the manufacturer's care instructions. Never charge the speaker while it is wet.
3. Up to 20 Hours of Battery Life
soundcore advertises up to 20 hours of playback at around 40% volume in Balanced EQ mode. Actual battery life may be lower at louder volumes or when using customised sound settings.
USB Type-C charging makes it convenient to recharge. The wall charger is not included in the standard package described in the manufacturer's FAQ, so check the box contents before buying.
4. Portable Design with Carrying Strap
The lightweight design and included strap make it easy to carry in a bag or attach to suitable hooks and outdoor gear. It is a practical choice for travel, camping and personal listening where portability matters more than maximum volume.
5. Bluetooth 5.4 and App-Based EQ
Bluetooth 5.4 provides wireless connectivity with compatible smartphones, tablets and computers. The soundcore app lets users adjust supported EQ settings to suit their listening preferences.
You can also pair two compatible Select 4 Go speakers for stereo playback. The manufacturer notes that newer versions may not pair with older versions, so check model compatibility before purchasing a second unit.
